Ciao! Seems like you found my about page, neat, I'll disclose some not-so-secret info about myself then.

I was born in a small town near Verona, Italy, in 2003. I got introduced to sports and music since I was little, and at 13 thanks to an open-day at a technical high-school I discovered the world of programming.

I actually remember getting home and showing my mom I could create a blank html page with a cool background color, I was indeed hyped about my discovery!

Eager to figure out how people actually built computer programs, I bought my first programming book (not that I read lots of other kinds of books either way): Head First Java. In the heat of the full summer, laptop honored to run the one and only Eclipse, book by my side and a tutorial by Bucky playing in the background, I sat down and tried to understand what was going on in the OOP world.
Ngl, I gave up the first time, but then I tried again, and again, until things slowly started to make very little sense.

I remember that I managed to build a small desktop app that could track some basic stats of a basketball game, and that was kinda it.

Some time, and a lot of gaming with friends went by, before I randomly got into Discord bot development, and I think since that moment, I haven't had a break longer than two weeks from coding.

Computers aside, I've always been a huge sports person, basketball being a constant in my life, and now I'm trying to get in as many days as possible each year in stuff like freeride skiing and (wind/kite)surfing. I was also into drums a lot back then, and I really wanna explore music producing and audio technologies more this year (2026).

Now trying to join my passions together, currently freelancing for BMAT as a backend / big data software developer! I'll document on this website what I encounter along my way, enjoy!
